The Cadence Bank Houston Open 2022 will tee off on November 10 and continue till November 13 at the Memorial Park Golf Course in Texas. Three of the top-15 golfers in the world, including No. 2 Scottie Scheffler, will compete for the $8.4 million purse and $1.512 million top prize this week at the newly renamed tour. Jason Kokrak, the reigning champion, won’t be present because of signing the LIV Golf. Champions like Scottie Scheffler, Hideki Matsuyama, and Jason Day will be among the illustrious field at the Houston Open. Following the World Wide Technology Championship in Mayakoba last week, the focus will be on Scheffler as he attempts to recapture the World No. 1 status from Rory McIlroy.
Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, the PGA Tour confirmed modifications to the 2020-21 season schedule, including the relocation of the Houston Open to November 5-8, one week before the Masters Tournament. Vivint sponsored the competition that time. Hewlett Packard Enterprise sponsored the event in 2021, and Cadence Bank will sponsor the event in 2022.
The LIVE Streaming of the Cadence Bank Houston Open 2022 will be available on the Golf Channel and Peacock from Thursday to Sunday from 1.00 pm to 4.00 pm. It will also be telecast on the Sky Sports. The radio coverage of the event will be broadcast on SiriusXM from 10 am to 4 pm on Thursday and Friday and from 11.00 am to 4.00 pm on Saturday and Sunday.
