Following the end of the tournament’s quarter-final phases, the semi-final fixtures for the 2022 FIFA World Cup have been confirmed. The tournament in Qatar began with 32 countries from across the world. After the arduous matchups of the previous eight, only four left. The first quarter-final match was between Brazil and Croatia. The Atlas Lions defeated Portugal 1-0 to become the first African country to reach the tournament’s semi-finals. Defending world champions France defeated England 2-1 to advance to the semi-finals. Morocco has managed to win the most hearts in a tournament full of great names in the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Walid Regragui’s team is unbeaten in Qatar, having defeated Belgium, Spain, and Portugal on their way to the semi-finals. When Regragui’s team takes on defending world champions France on December 15, they will face their toughest test yet.
