Denzel Dumfries stood out as the Netherlands overcame the United States 3-1 in their last-16 encounter to get to the World Cup quarterfinals. Dumfries, a standout performer, ended their dreams of a spectacular comeback in the 83rd minute, volleying in Blind’s cross to win the victory.
