Dani Alves is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a right-back for La Liga club Barcelona and the Brazil national team. He is widely recognized as one of the greatest full-backs of all time – for having 47 official titles overall in his career.
Initially, Alves started as a winger at age 5 but his father re-positioned him as a right back. He first made his professional debut for Bahia before joining the Andalusian side, Sevilla back in 2002. He successfully spent six years with Sevilla, winning two UEFA Cups and the Copa del Rey with them before joining FC Barcelona in 2008.
