Keijo Erik Rosberg, known as “Keke” is a Finnish former racing driver born on 6 December 1948 in Solna, Sweden, where his father studied veterinary science. Rosberg’s father Lars Rosberg and mother Lea Lautala were both natives of Hamina, Finland. Rosberg got into the European Formula Two in the year 1976 Team Warsteiner Eurorace and Fred Opert Racing. Rosberg continued with Fred Opert Racing for the 1977 season. He completed 11 races in that season with 1 pole position, 1 win, 3 podiums, 25 points and finished at 6th position.
Keke is the father of 2016 Formula One World Champion Nico Rosberg. Rosberg’s family moved back to Finland in the spring of 1950, originally settling in Lapinjärvi and later moving to Hamina, Oulu and Iisalmi. Rosberg had a relatively late start to his F1 career, debuting at the age of 29 after stints in Formula Vee, Formula Super Vee, Can-Am, Formula Atlantic, Formula Pacific and Formula Two, then “feeder” series to Formula One. He raced for Fred Opert, his American patron. His first Formula One drive was with the Theodore team during the 1978 season.
Keke Rosberg is married to Sina Rosberg. Sina was born on 26 September 1946 in Wiesbaden, Germany. She is 75 years old as of 2022 and is a German Interpreter. The couple tied the knot in 1983 in Mauritius. They have one son together Nico Rosberg, who is a 2016 Formula One World Champion. The couple are grandparents to Naila Rosberg, Alaϊa Rosberg.

Formerly Gleitsmann Dengel, Sina Rosberg is a German Interpreter from Germany born in 1946 in Wiesbaden. She married the Finnish race car driver and 1982 Formula One World Champion Keke Rosberg in 1983. She has a son Nico Rosberg who also drove in the Formula One World Championship. Nico, just like his father, is 2016 Formula One World Champion.
