Their captors are revealed to be Sugizo and an elderly couple referred to as Grandpa and Grandma. It feels a lot like a scene from Resident Evil 7, complete with them being tied up. Things get even spookier when Grandma turns out to be a zombie, and this strange family has a sinister plan involving unlucky travelers.
As they attempt to escape, facing various challenges and even a reference to The Shining, they spot a newly opened doorway with light seeping through. But in the final panels, Takemina suggests holding back and hints at a mysterious plan. The suspense is building, and the story is getting more interesting.
