Warzone 2 season two has brought along the Search and Seizure contract on Ashikia Island in the game. In this article, we will discuss what it is, how it works, and how players can complete it.

Resurgence mode has returned to Warzone 2, as Season 2 brought Ashika Island into the game’s map pool. The fan-favorite game mode is more similar to multiplayer than a traditional battle royale and focuses on respawning in a small-scale environment.

Fans loved WZ1’s Rebirth Island and Fortune’s Keep for providing a refreshing change of pace. Despite having a few bugs, fans liked Ashika Island after spending a few days on the Japanese-inspired map.

However, Warzone 2 players criticized the developers for bringing AI into the mix for Ashika Island with the new Search and Seizure contract. Here’s everything players need to know about the controversial new contract in the game.

Warzone 2 Search and Seizure contract

Raven Software brought Search and Seizure contracts exclusively to Ashika Island on February 22.

“Search & Seizure Contracts task you with tracking down Shadow Company mercs that have commandeered vehicles across Ashika Island. Dispatch them and recover the keys. Drive the stolen vehicle to the designated drop-off location but be prepared to evade retaliatory airstrikes.”

The developers later clarified that AI combatants only spawn during the Search and Seizure contract and the upcoming Data Heist Public Event. Completing the contract is a multi-step process. Players are required to track down the AI enemies, recover the key, and escape while airstrikes drop down bombs on them as they move towards the drop-off location.

If the vehicle is destroyed during extraction, players won’t be able to finish the contract. For the Data heist Event, awards include Killstreaks, XP, cash, and Advanced UAVs, but the developers did not mention rewards for the new Search and Seizure contract.

Where to use Waterlogged Bag key?

Players will be able to find the Waterlogged Bag to the east of Oganikku Farms, located in a nearby outcropping of buildings. Players can find the pool containing the Waterlogged Bag just across a tennis court in the same area.

Given that Ashika is a pretty small map compared to Al Mazrah, players are likely to experience some resistance from fellow squads in the area. It is best to come to the Waterlogged Bag with all the required things and be ready for war with other players. Once players reach the pool, they will be able to find the Waterlogged Bag at the bottom middle of the pool, in the center of a large circle.

As for what’s inside the bag, loot across all locations is randomized at the start of each Warzne 2 match. The bag can have anything ranging from heaps of currency to useful items. For players looking to turn their money into experience, finding a Dead Drop should be their go-to move.
