The fans are excited for Under the Oak Tree Chapter 91 which will be out soon. Readers found it endearing to witness Riftan apologizing and Maxi standing up for herself and her preferences. It was surprising that Maxi was so determined to deal with Riftan because, in retrospect, she has always had a somewhat subservient and shy disposition. Witnessing her stand up for her dreams was inspiring.

Before this, in the previous chapter of Under the Oak Tree, Riftan had a very nasty word for Maxi because he hated it when she became tired from tending to his warriors in the infirmary. Because he wanted Maxi to feel comfortable, he was always critical of everything she did, regardless of whether she liked it or not.
Because Riftan’s actions deeply wounded Maxi, she chose to cut off all communication with him in an effort to convey her anger. Her anger was so great that she would not utter a word and would not even meet his gaze. Riftan came to terms with the fact that he had harmed his wife and made a grave error.
Upon realizing the gravity of his remarks, Riftan approached Maxi in the infirmary and sincerely apologized. Maxi, nevertheless, was still not prepared to let go, so she instructed Sir Hebaron to relay her thoughts instead. The whole exchange was hilarious, and the Knights couldn’t help but laugh at how helpless their Commander looked.
Riftan spoke up to Maxi, letting her know that he wasn’t serious about his previous statement, once she finally looked at him. The only thing he ever wants for her is for her to have a carefree life full of comfort, he assures her. Tears well up in Maxi’s eyes as she firmly states her distaste for that type of existence.
She told him with conviction that she was having a great time studying magic and becoming a healer. Riftan listens to what she says and assures her he will not make the same mistakes twice. Maxi needed to get enough sleep and not push herself too hard; that was all he asked from her.
