The last chapter revealed Cale’s well-coordinated plan to heal Ron, foil the hidden organization, and aid the whales in their battle against the mermaids. We already know that Cale is good at coming up with detailed strategies that account for everything while keeping risks to a minimal. With Ron’s life in his hands, he once again demonstrated his intellect.
And the whales would be doing themselves a favor by forcing the mermaids out of their territory; after all, they’ve been under the mermaids’ spell for far too long and are now in the midst of a territorial dispute.

Whitira orders one of her men to lead the boat that Cale brought to the island in the previous chapter of Trash of the Count’s Family. She says they simply need to direct the magical boat to the island, but the guy is too ashamed to volunteer for the job. Whitira even tries to persuade him, which is quite amusing.
The part where Cale’s dragon jokes about how the whale’s back being slippery was the cutest part of their whale-riding adventure. He arrives at Haise Island 1 at last and considers destroying one of the islands since there are so many of them.
While he goes to speak with Choi Han, he orders his party to handle Ron with care. He confides in Choi Han that he must convey a message to him before to the arrival of the whales, explaining that he is willing to be deceitful if it means avoiding harm. But they were on a mission this time, and they had to eliminate a certain mage.
He inquires as to Choi Han’s recollection of the magician from the Capital party and informs him that, being the sole observer of Ron’s countenance, they must destroy him for their own protection. Choi Han quickly agrees to Cale’s offer, and Cale observes that despite his kindness, he has no qualms about murdering.
