Especially for the mastermind, whose plan began to fall apart when Izana gave her life to shield Kakucho from the gunshot. The most recent episode was highly emotional and full of surprising twists and turns.

In a moving flashback, we learn that Izana had no blood relatives and that Kakucho was the only family she had ever known. That explains why she had a strong desire to protect him.

Kakcuhoa and Izana reflect on their lovely youth and how they came to be as individuals while Izana bleeds to death from his wounds. Interrupting Toma and Tenjiku’s argument, Mikey finds out about Izana’s conduct and decides to end it.

As per Mikey’s instructions, everyone promptly departs the area as the authorities begin to arrive. There are still unresolved issues, though, as Kisaki and Hanma evade capture once more. However, Takemichi is hell-bent on getting even with him this time, so he enlists Draken’s assistance in pursuing them.

Draken challenges Hanma since the two have a fascinating history of engaging in such confrontations; nevertheless, Takemichi is reluctant to abandon Draken because he foresees a future in which Drakne will meet his demise. But Draken tells him to go after Takemichi nevertheless. Takemichi finally catches up to the Kiskai at the end of the episode, and the two of them get into a fistfight.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the next episode, as Takemichi remains resolute in his mission to ensure that Kisaki faces the consequences of his actions.
