Fortnite Battle Royale is consistently ranked at the top of Twitch’s apparently limitless gaming collection. Fortnite was the fourth most-watched game in 2021, with over 970 million hours of gameplay. Many well-known names dominated the scene, while others came through the ranks in unexpected ways. : Fortnite Streamers

The days of Ninja, Cloakzy, and Tfue reigning supreme in the Fortnite category are long gone. Ninja made a comeback in the second half of 2021, but there’s a new breed of Twitch broadcasters that are doing a great job representing the game with interesting content and devoted fan bases.

As we prepare for what lies ahead in 2022, ESTNN looks back at the most-watched Fortnite streams of 2021.

5) SARDAR “OPS” GHAFOOR :Fortnite Streamers

Ops, a TSM FTX member, was the sixth most-watched Fortnite broadcaster in 2021, with over 15 million hours viewed. He averaged 3K viewers per stream and streamed for a total of 4,326 hours, which is longer than anyone else on this list. Fortnite gameplay and the occasional viewing party for high-level events are among the Ops’ offerings. Given how much Ops streams, it’s hardly surprising to see him in the top five.

4) AMAR “AMAR” AL-NAIMI :Fortnite Streamers

Amar is a well-known character in the European competitive Fortnite scene. He routinely arranges tournaments, broadcasts viewing parties, and collaborates with some of Europe’s greatest players. Amar’s passion to Fortnite and his community is evident in his hard work in 2021. Over the last 12 months, he has streamed 1,288 hours, garnered 15.1 million watch hours, and averaged 11K viewers per stream. In Europe’s Fortnite, Amar is the top of the crop.

3) DAVID “THEGREFG” CÁNOVAS MARTÍNEZ :Fortnite Streamers

TheGrefg, a Spanish streamer, did not stream as often as the others on this list. His community’s support, on the other hand, makes him a force to be reckoned with. In 2021, TheGrefg, a content creator and part of Fortnite’s prestigious ICON Series, streamed 530 hours of Fortnite to over 20 million viewers. The Spaniard’s average viewership of 38K outperforms everyone else on the list, demonstrating how popular he is when it comes to Fortnite.

2) CODY “CLIX” CONROD

Clix, a professional Fortnite player, had an eventful year in 2021, but it wasn’t all good. Epic Games removed Clix’s Fortnite Support-A-Creator (SAC) code and distanced itself from him, according to Clix. None of this deterred Clix from claiming the second spot on the list.

On average, the NRG member streamed 932 hours of Fortnite to 22K viewers. Stream watchers watched for over 20.7 million hours this year. Clix has had his ups and downs, but no one can deny that he is a great Fortnite player.

1) JESUS “JELTY” NAVAREZ ESPINOZA

This past year, Jelty, a competitive Fortnite player from Spain, had the opportunity of a lifetime. Jelty is not only one of the best competition gamers, but he’s also a Twitch streamer. With an average of 14K viewers, the G2 Esports player broadcast a total of 2,249 hours of Fortnite. His 32 million watch hours placed him well ahead of the pack.
In a year where online competitions dominated, Jelty reigned supreme in Fortnite. On December 20, G2 extended the Spanish player’s contract, and his Twitch stream has a lot of potential.

There’s a lot riding on Fortnite’s future in 2022. On all social media platforms, the game manages to maintain an incredible following. The foundation is personalities, and we’ll have to wait and see what happens next year.
