Recap of the Previous Episode

When Hayato got himself into a precarious position, things became funny. He wrongly sees the young girls only wearing their underwear. Ami delivers a powerful karate kick to Hayato, turning this awkward predicament into misery. However, Hayato asks the females for an introduction at the beginning of The Cafe Terrace and Its Goddesses’ second episode.

The young women start by introducing themselves. The order is Tsuruga Ami first, Tsukishima Riho second, Ono Shiragiku third, Hououji Akane and Makuzawa Ouka. As soon as the girls have finished their briefing, Hayato talks about how the tasks would be split if they lived together. Despite Hayato’s attempts, the girls refused to volunteer and provided a variety of justifications.

After a few more difficult situations and exchanges, the episode switches to Hayato cleaning the café Familia. He remembers an antique mill machine his grandma cherished as he straightens up. Shiragiku walks in and expresses gratitude to Hayato for his assistance. After engaging in friendly discussion, they leave for supper.

After supper, Hayato vanishes, only to be discovered preparing coffee and complaining that it does not compare to his grandmother’s. His self-talk is overheard by Akane, who then approaches him. His grandmother’s coffee is made for him by her. She agrees to educate him after he asks her to.
