Sentinels is an American esports organization based in Los Angeles, California. The organization was founded as League of Legends team Phoenix1. In June 2018, Phoenix1 rebranded to Sentinels. The company currently fields teams in Fortnite, Valorant, Apex Legends, and Halo. They have performed consistently and have been winning all the regional tournaments since the beginning of competitive Valorant. They are the most successful organizations in terms of prize money earned all around the globe.
Sentinels were way ahead of their competition as they won the first international event in the Valorant competitive scene, VALORANT Champions Tour 2021: Stage 2 Masters – Reykjavík, without losing any single map points.
In April 2020, Sentinels announced their VALORANT roster and on June 1st 2020 Sentinels finalized the team by signing dapr. On March 10th 2021, sinatraa was suspended from the roster during an internal investigation by Sentinels and they acquired TenZ on loan from Cloud9 Blue for the upcoming tournament. Based on his performance June 1st 2021, Sentinels acquired TenZ permanently. In November 2021, Rawkus joined the team as coach prior to VCT: Champions. Recently in February 2022, Sentinels extended player contracts by another year after their domination in the last year.
