Talon Esports has achieved a significant milestone by securing a spot in the top three of the Lima Major 2022. In a thrilling encounter, they defeated Shopify Rebellion, a well-known team from North America, in a 2-1 victory in the lower bracket semifinals. This achievement is notable because Talon Esports is the first Dota 2 team from Southeast Asia to reach the top three of a Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) since T1 at the WePlay! AniMajor 2021. The next challenge for Talon Esports is a best-of-three series against Team Liquid in the Lower Bracket finals. The winner of this series will earn the opportunity to compete against Gaimin Gladiators in the Grand Finals of the Lima Major 2022.

In the previous round, Talon Esports defeated Entity, a formidable European team, with ease in a 2-0 victory. Talon Esports’ calm and composed play led to a complete dismantling of Entity in both matches, earning them a spot in the Lower Bracket semifinals. Entity has been eliminated from the tournament, earning a respectable $25,000 USD in prize money and 200 Dota 2 Pro Circuit (DPC) points.

Team Liquid and Gaimin Gladiators are the only two remaining European teams in the tournament. They will face each other in the Winner Bracket finals, despite unfortunate circumstances befalling Team Liquid’s Samuel “Boxi” Svahn. This highly anticipated match will determine which team will have a shot at becoming the champion of the Lima Major 2022. Talon Esports has displayed exceptional gameplay throughout the tournament, and their spot in the top three is a testament to their skill and determination. They will undoubtedly be looking to continue their success in the upcoming match against Team Liquid.

Talon Esports triumphs over Shopify Rebellion with a stunning 2-1 win to reach Top 3 at the Lima Major 2022

Talon Esports showcased their momentum and skill by defeating Shopify Rebellion in a thrilling 2-1 victory at the Lima Major 2022. After a dominant 2-0 win over Entity earlier in the day, Talon Esports carried their form into the match against Shopify Rebellion. In the first game, Talon Esports’ Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman on Puck was virtually unstoppable. He wreaked havoc across the map, repeatedly eliminating Shopify’s heroes and creating space for Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon to farm and secure the win for his team.

Shopify Rebellion responded in the second game, with Artour “Arteezy” Babaev’s Bloodseeker proving to be too much for Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong’s Dawnbreaker. Arteezy’s performance helped secure a crucial victory to level the series.

However, Talon Esports showed resilience in the final game, with Jabz redeeming himself by defeating Arteezy’s Luna with his Primal Beast. Despite a late-game lineup from Shopify Rebellion, Talon Esports dominated all of their lanes and 23savage’s Spectre dealt over 80k damage in the 45-minute game. Despite Shopify Rebellion’s best efforts, they were unable to overcome Talon Esports’ powerful cores. Talon Esports’ victory over Shopify Rebellion was a testament to their skill and momentum, and they will undoubtedly be looking to carry this form into their next match against Team Liquid in the Lower Bracket finals of the Lima Major 2022.

Entity Crumbles under Talon’s Dominant Performance in Swift Victory at Lima Major 2023

The highly anticipated showdown between Talon Esports and Entity in the Lima Major 2023 lower bracket did not disappoint, as both teams came into the match with impressive performances in their previous rounds. However, it was Talon who emerged victorious in a dominant fashion, stunning Entity and securing a spot in the next round of the tournament.

Game 1 started off with a bang, as Talon’s Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon picked up his signature Terrorblade and secured an early lead in the laning phase. Entity tried to respond with aggressive plays, but Talon’s superior team coordination allowed them to create space for 23savage to farm and take over the game. The Thai carry’s impressive damage output with a Daedalus and a Skadi in his inventory proved too much for Entity to handle, leading to a quick and decisive victory for Talon in just 35 minutes.

In Game 2, Talon’s midlaner Rafli “Mikoto” Rahman had a standout performance on Zeus, dominating Entity’s support player Dzmitry “Fishman” Palishchuk’s Undying and enabling his team to take control of the map. Despite Entity’s valiant efforts to come back, Talon’s relentless pressure and coordinated team play proved too much, leading to another swift victory for the Southeast Asian team in just 34 minutes. Talon’s dominant performance in both games showcased their impressive skills and teamwork, leaving Entity reeling and knocking them out of the tournament. Talon will move on to the next round of the Lima Major 2023, eager to continue its winning streak and secure a spot in the finals.

After their convincing victory over Entity at the Lima Major 2023, Talon Esports’ captain Anucha “Jabz” Jirawong revealed that the team’s success was a result of building momentum from the Southeast Asian DPC tiebreakers and learning from their losses to top teams like Fnatic and Team Liquid.

Jabz expressed confidence in their preparation and stated that the team is ready to take on their next opponent, Shopify Rebellion, in the upcoming match for a Top 3 spot at the tournament later in the day. Talon’s impressive performance and strong team spirit will undoubtedly make them a tough opponent for any team they face, as they continue to push towards the grand finals of the Lima Major 2023.
