The popular Pokémon franchise has been entertaining children and adults for over two decades now with its anime series, video games, trading cards, and movies. Indian fans of the series have something to look forward to as Super Hungama, the popular Indian television channel, is currently airing the Pokémon Movie: Volcanion Ki Kahani (Pokémon the Movie XY & Z: Volcanion to Karakuri no Magearna) film in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil.
The Central Board of Film Certification in India granted certificates for the release of the Telugu version of the film on May 24, for the English version on May 26, for the Tamil version on May 28, and for the Hindi version on May 28 as well. This certification paved the way for the film’s release on Indian television and streaming platforms.
“In this latest Pokémon full-length feature film, a mysterious force binds Ash to the Mythical Pokémon Volcanion when it falls from the sky. Volcanion can’t get away, and Ash is dragged along as it continues on its mission. For fans who prefer to watch the movie with the English dub, Voot Kids began streaming the film in India in October 2021, titled Pokémon the Movie: Volcanion and the Mechanical Marvel. The English version of the film originally debuted in December 2016 on Disney XD in the United States.
