In chapter 121, While Jo-Gul is being welcomed kindly back by the Four Seas Merchant Association, Chung and his friends are all shocked and speculating about Jo-Gul’s wealthy family. Chung finds it hard to understand why Jo-Gul, because of his wealth is still broke even if his parents are overjoyed to see him.

Jo-Gul gets teased by Chung and the crew for being loaded during a formal dinner at his residence. Jo-Gul, however delivers a shocking knowledge he was meant to return last year to assist with the family business but he got involved in the Mount Hua Sect. 

Now he fears his parents may believe he has returned permanently while in reality he is still abroad. Later when Jo-Gul brings up Yuunan with his father the latter finds it hard to believe his son would return to such a dangerous location. 

Eventually, though he is won over by Jo-Gul’s independence and consents to meet with Chung and the others to figure out if it is safe for them to travel with. Jo-Gul’s father expresses his concerns about his son’s safety during a meeting with Baek Chun and the gang. Baek advises Jo-Gul to stay at home if this is such an important issue.
