The previous chapter of Serena Manhwa started with the Eiser flashback. We see his father praising him for his intelligence. He tells him to leave his studies and start to come office. He will teach him how to lead.
That was how Eiser’s lessons began with his father. We got to see him more as he has grown up a little and is on a business with his father along with his older brother Victor.
That’s when his father decide and told Victor that he will leave his business to the one who is more intelligent and powerful. He has no intention to pass his name on the failure so they both should better be ready. That’s how Victor became hostile and wary of Eiser.
That’s how the competition started between both brothers. Eiser also got to know how cruel his father was when it came to his business and his set of rules. However, his father got caught in an event and his mother was about to take the fall for his father but Eiser didn’t want that.
Eiser also realized how cruel his brother was and didn’t care for his mother. The same goes for his father, to him business and money were more important than his mother. Eiser picks up the knife and slashes his older brother’s cheeks. Then he says to call the police as he would like to follow his mother in prison.
Then he met his family attorney Jeffrey who was the only person he respected. And as promised, he brought back his mother from prison. However, his mother’s condition was really poor which shocked Eiser at the end of the chapter.
