The men kidnapped Serena and carried her to a place she didn’t recognize in the last Serena chapter. For the time being, getting away from her kidnappers was her top priority. Since Raoul had a suspicion that something was amiss, he began searching for Serena after she vanished.
Outside the room where Serena was confined, an unidentified group of men were observing her. Serena can breathe a sigh of relief because their chat made it quite clear that they would have tried to hurt Serena if their manager hadn’t told them not to touch her.
The man warned his companion against touching her for fear of repeating the friend’s tragic death. Most kidnapped persons would be crying and moaning by now, so the boys didn’t get Serena’s calm demeanor. It became increasingly clear to Serena that the auction was a hoax the more she considered it.
It was a relief that she, and not Sue, had been caught; the latter would have lost her cool. As the genius drew near, Serena sensed it. Thinking back on her eleven-year-old self’s adventures with Slicewind, she had a similar sentiment.
While they’re coming up with ideas, Raoul mentions that it would be tough to find Serena if Victor had kidnapped her. This is also something Eiser mentions. He possessed numerous concealed properties and safe houses, so the process would be lengthy. Victor has instructed Raoul to locate any calls made from the estate within three days.
