Ruri finds that her body is noticeably calmer than before, indicating improvement, even though she has a hard time controlling her lightning skills.

Her mother encourages her, believing that she will learn to control her abilities in due time. Ruri and her mother discuss Ruri’s potential beneficial uses of her abilities during training, but they are unable to reach a consensus.
An unexpected call forces Ruri’s mom to leave for a while. Ruri goes to an arcade to kill time, where she runs across some students she hasn’t had much of a chance to talk to before.
Ruri quickly becomes friends with them and enjoys playing games like bowling with them, despite the awkwardness at first. As they discuss Ruri’s abilities as a dragon, she jokes about offering them “free flights” when she learns to fly.
Ruri is so exhausted at the end of the chapter that she refuses to get out of bed the next day, even though she had an interesting day earlier. Many questions remain unsolved for fans following this shocking conclusion.
