But players must be wondering which platforms they can interact with, and how does Mobile version fit into the equation. We’ve got you covered.

After years of request to Ubisoft for the crossplay feature, Rainbow Six Siege has finaaly made crossplay available for the game for players to team up and take on players on other platforms.

The feature witnessed a staggered rollout, but it might soon complete with Operation Solar Raid in sight at the end of year 7. Let’s discuss all the details about crossplay in Rainbow Six Siege.

Rainbow Six Siege Console Crossplay

PlayStation and Xbox crossplay is also finally coming to Rainbow Six Siege with the roll out of Operation Solar Raid. Sony and Microsoft console owners will be able to go up against each other before this year ends.

Both consoles support cross-generational lobbies. The console cross-play will be an addition to that, which means PS4 and PS5 players will come together with Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S players.

Rainbow Six Siege Mobile Crossplay

Since Rainbow Six Mobile has already been announced, many players are wondering if Siege players on PC and console will be able to crossplay with players on their handheld counterparts.

Currently, it’s not possible to do taht. Rainbow Six Mobile players can only access a limited selection of Operators and maps, and the game has to be created from scratch to be perfectly optimized for mobile devices.

Chances of ever seeing crossplay between Siege on PC / Console and mobile devices are very slim at the moment. But we will have to wait and see what the developers have in mind for the future of the franchise.
