Overwatch 2 making it to Xbox Game Pass?

Unfortunately, Overwatch 2 will not be embracing the Xbox Game Pass. Instead, the game will follow the free-to-play approach when it comes out on October 4. It means players across PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, as well as PC, can enjoy the game without having to buy an active Game Pass subscription.

Players should also note that only the PvP portion of Overwatch 2 can be played for free, so people hoping to take on the PvE content will have to buy a full copy of Overwatch 2. It goes without saying that Game Pass members are eligible to get some exclusive in-game rewards in the coming days. However, Blizzard hasn’t revealed whether this will be the case or not.

So, that’s basically everything players should know about whether Overwatch 2 will be making its way to Game Pass. To know more, interested people can check out our Overwatch stories and stay updated with everything that the game has to offer.
