Overwatch 2 season 3 is gearing up to be a meta-changing event, but not only for the mechanics of the game. Overwatch Credits are also making a comeback to the game, and players will be able to save up each and every credit to buy in-game goodies.

The Overwatch Credit system was available in the previous iteration besides the controversial loot boxes. Now they are back (sans the loot boxes), and players will be able to try out more ways to spend their cash in the game.

Players will now be able to earn up to 1,500 credits with 500 more for premium players who trek through the battle pass. Skins will now be close to players’ inventory than ever experienced before. This is because credits will be a currency for buying things such as Legendary skins.

How to earn Overwatch Credits?

For players looking to fill their purses with something more than Overwatch coins, credits are what they are looking for. In order to earn these credits, players will have to take on weekly and daily challenges, and essentially just play the game. Players will gather credits as they go ahead in the game. They need to aim to complete whatever challenge is on their list, and they will likely be rewarded with credits.

Players’ legacy credits are the exact same as their Overwatch 2 credits, so it’s likely they will have a decent amount at their disposal. It’s pretty straightforward. Players need to prepare themselves to be overwhelmed with the huge amounts of coins and credits that will reach their in-game OW2 wallet. Players can buy skins that are actually worth the price, so saving up credits can be a good choice.

Can Overwatch 2 be played on Mac?

Unfortunately, OW2 hasn’t been released for the Mac. If previous launches are a proof, it looks like the game might never release on a Mac in the coming days as well. This is because of some specific constraints that exist on the macOS, preventing several games that don’t use third-party engines from running seamlessly.

But there are a few workarounds that can allow players to enjoy Overwatch 2 on their Mac. Before getting too excited, players will have to ensure the Mac will be able to run the game. Here are the minimum system requirements and recommended requirements.

Minimum System Requirements

  • Intel Core i3 or AMD Phenom X3 8650 CPU
