The elevator breaks down with Eunhyuk and Suae inside. For Suae, it was like a genuine date. When Suae overheard other girls talking about Eunhyuk, she was relieved to learn that Go Eunhyuk was completely unrelated to them. Then, the second girl asked the third if she thought she ought to ask Eunhyuk for his phone number.
He turned her down when she went to ask him out, saying that he already had a girlfriend. Suae overheard the entire conversation, and she couldn’t stop thinking about the girls’ assumption that he’d come with his girlfriend to the movie and then left. She was feeling too thrilled about it, even knowing that was the reason he turned down that girl. Suae, unable to watch the film without wondering if she was his girlfriend, paid no attention whatsoever.

Because of the crowding in the front elevator, Suae and Eunhyuk had to switch to the one on the opposite side of the building. The silence in that elevator was oppressive. Suae was feeling a little awkward, and it appeared to her that Eunhyuk was not. She pondered whether or not her perspective was unique. The movie’s passionate kissing scene was still playing through Suae’s mind when the elevator doors opened.
When Eunhyuk and Suae entered the elevator, they discovered it was broken and immediately dialed the control room for assistance. The caller instructed them to wait until the maintenance crews came. Suae’s patience was wearing thin as she wondered how much longer they’d have to sit in that stillness. Suae felt quite uncomfortable because Eunhyuk continued staring at her; she tried to tell him that standing for so long would make her fatigued.
As Eunhyuk stared at her awkwardly, Suae began to wonder if he was considering kissing her. But nothing of the sort occurred until the chapter’s final few pages. It will be exciting to see if the next episode includes Eunhyuk’s long-awaited kiss with Suae.
In the previous chapter, Suae displayed signs of anxiety; now we’ll see how she reacts, if at all. We might miss the scenario if the repair crew gets there before they can take the next step, but it’s a remote probability.
