Over the last few days, Twitter user @OP_Netflix_Fan has posted several leaks from the One Piece live-action set. The One Piece live-action leaks show the building of the Going Merry, the Straw Hats’ first ship in One Piece, as well as what appears to be the Loguetown set.

The latter piece of information is particularly intriguing because it appears to confirm that the first season of the series will cover up to the Reverse Mountain arc. The adaptation rate is roughly five anime episodes for every one live-action episode, or ten manga chapters for every episode. The live-action adaptation of One Piece has already been confirmed to have a ten-episode first season.

One Piece live-action leaks

As previously stated, Twitter user and reputable series leaker @OP Netflix Fan has posted leaks of the One Piece live-action set yet again. The most recent leaks show the construction of Going Merry as well as what appears to be significant progress on the Loguetown set.

The construction of the Loguetown set is the most notable aspect of these developments. This confirms a long-held fan theory that the first season’s content would extend at least through the Loguetown arc. This would then set the stage for the second season, which would presumably cover the entirety of the Alabasta saga.

Fans can see what appears to be Gol D. Roger’s execution platform, as well as newspapers detailing the event, in the Loguetown set leaks. A door to a Marine office is also seen, most likely belonging to Captain Smoker, the Marine in charge of preventing pirates from passing on their way to the Grand Line.

Meanwhile, fans appear to have mixed feelings about The Going Merry. Some criticise the real-life accurate sheep figurehead, while others argue that it should have been designed to be more true to the manga. Even more are claiming that this is an April Fools’ joke, though given the number of leakers who have posted these images, this seems unlikely.

These latest set leaks from the One Piece live-action series are extremely encouraging for fans who have high expectations. The sets appear to be of extremely high quality, and the adaptation appears to be attempting to be as faithful to the source material as possible.

The confirmation that the Loguetown set is being built is also very exciting for fans because it indicates what the first season will cover. Going through at least the Loguetown arc is a fantastic decision, as it provides a perfect ending point for the first season’s finale.
