Indian tournament organizer NODWIN Gaming has recently completed a highly successful funding round, raising an impressive $28 million USD from a mix of new and existing investors. This infusion of capital, as stated in a press release, will primarily be utilized to expand and nurture NODWIN’s gaming and esports ecosystem. It will involve venturing into newer intellectual properties (IPs), bolstering the market presence of NODWIN in emerging regions, and strategically acquiring assets to enhance the network’s value. Key Investors Drive NODWIN’s $28 Million Raise

Prominent contributors to this funding round include familiar faces such as Nazara, KRAFTON Inc, and JetSynthesys. NODWIN Gaming’s previous fundraising endeavor occurred in March 2021 when the company secured a $22.4 million investment from KRAFTON, valuing the company at $135 million. With the latest funding round in 2023, NODWIN Gaming’s valuation has skyrocketed to an impressive $349 million post-money, reflecting an exceptional 2.7-fold increase within a two-year timeframe.

While the release did not disclose the identities of the new investors, Sportslumo’s examination of stock market filings revealed Sony Group Corporation and Innopark (India) Private Limited as the recent entrants in NODWIN Gaming’s investor roster. Akshat Rathee, co-founder and managing director of NODWIN Gaming, expressed deep gratitude for the achievements and extended appreciation to all parties involved.

“I am immensely grateful and blessed to have achieved a remarkable 68% compound annual growth rate (CAGR) over the past two years, despite the volatility of the market,” commented Akshat Rathee. Rathee attributed much of this success to the dedicated team led by co-founder Gautam Virk, whose instrumental role has transformed their vision into reality.
