The third console game in The Quintessential Quintuplets franchise, "Gotōbun no Hanayome: Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku," is set to release on September 7 for the PlayStation 4 and Switch. “The Quintessential Quintuplets” fans can look forward to the franchise’s third console game, “Gotōbun no Hanayome: Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku,” which is set to launch on September 7, 2023. The game, developed by MAGES., will be available on PlayStation 4 and Switch.
On Tuesday, a new teaser trailer for the upcoming game was released on the franchise’s official website. The video showcased gameplay footage and gave fans a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming title.
MAGES. has previously developed two console games for “The Quintessential Quintuplets” franchise. The first game, “Gotōbun no Hanayome Natsu no Omoide mo Gotōbun,” launched for PlayStation 4 and Switch in March 2021. The second game, “Eiga Gotōbun no Hanayome Kimi to Sugoshita Itsutsu no Omoide,” which is a video game adaptation of the “The Quintessential Quintuplets” sequel anime film, launched for PlayStation 4 and Switch in June 2022.
In addition to the third console game, a console version of the “Gotōbun no Hanayome: Itsutsugo-chan wa Puzzle wo Gotōbun Dekinai.” smartphone game is set to launch on May 25, 2023. The console version, titled “Gotōbun no Hanayome: Goto Pazu Story,” will only include the fully voiced story part of the smartphone game. The smartphone game was launched in October 2020.

“The Quintessential Quintuplets” is a popular anime and manga franchise that follows the story of high school student Futaro Uesugi, who is hired as a tutor for quintuplet sisters. The anime’s first season premiered in January 2019 and aired for 12 episodes. The second season aired from January 2021 to March 2021, and the franchise has a new anime in the works titled “Gotōbun no Hanayome∽” that will adapt stories not yet seen in the previous anime projects.
The original manga, created by Negi Haruba, was serialized in Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine from August 2017 to February 2020. The franchise also had a film adaptation, “The Quintessential Quintuplets the Movie,” which was released in Japan in May 2022 and serves as the finale for the story. The film has since been released internationally with English subtitles and an English dub on streaming platform Crunchyroll.
Fans of “The Quintessential Quintuplets” can look forward to more content from the franchise, including the upcoming console game and new anime series. With the release of “Gotōbun no Hanayome: Kanojo to Kawasu Itsutsu no Yakusoku” set for September 7, fans will have something new to look forward to later this year.
