New Cast Members for Demon Slayer: Swordsmith Village Arc Anime Revealed

The latest episode of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc has revealed new cast members for the anime. In episode 3, viewers were introduced to four different clones of Hantengu, voiced by Toshio Furukawa. The four new characters are Sekido, Karaku, Urog, and Aizetsu, voiced by Yuichiro Umehara, Kaito Ishikawa, Shunsuke Takeuchi, and Sōma Saitō, respectively. The Four Hantengu Clones

In the third episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc, four different clones of Hantengu were introduced. These clones have been assigned the following voice actors:

Sekido, voiced by Yuichiro Umehara

Karaku, voiced by Kaito Ishikawa

Urog, voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi

Aizetsu, voiced by Sōma Saitō

All of these characters have distinct personalities and unique abilities, which will make the upcoming episodes even more exciting to watch.

Premiere and Streaming

The anime premiered on April 9 at 11:55 p.m. JST on Fuji TV with a one-hour special. Ahead of the new arc’s premiere, two specials for the previous Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc anime aired on April 1 and April 8.

This means that fans all over the world can enjoy the latest installment of the series in their preferred language. theatrical screenings of the anime opened on February 3 in 418 theaters in Japan. The screenings include episodes 10 and 11 of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, as well as the first Swordsmith Village Arc episode. The screenings played in theaters in over 95 countries and territories.

Returning Cast and Crew

Fans of the series will be pleased to know that the main cast and staff members are all returning for the new arc. Director Haruo Sotozaki, character designer and chief animation director Akira Matsushima, and animation studio ufotable are all back for the latest installment. This continuity should ensure that the new episodes maintain the high quality of animation and storytelling that fans have come to expect from the series.

About Demon Slayer

For those who are not familiar with Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, the series is based on the manga of the same name by Koyoharu Gotouge. The story follows a young boy named Tanjiro Kamado, whose family is killed by demons. Tanjiro becomes a demon slayer and sets out on a journey to avenge his family and protect humanity from the threat of demons. The first television anime adaptation of the series premiered in April 2019 and was licensed by Aniplex of America. The series was streamed on Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. Adult Swim’s Toonami programming block also aired the series in October 2019.

In October 2020, the Demon Slayer – Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Movie: Mugen Train anime film was released in Japan. The film was a massive success, breaking box office records and becoming the highest-grossing film in Japanese history. Crunchyroll and Funimation are currently streaming the film for fans outside of Japan. In October 2021, the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Mugen Train Arc, a seven-episode arc that adapts the Mugen Train film, premiered. This was followed by the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Entertainment District Arc, which aired in December 2021 with a one-hour special. Both arcs were streamed by Funimation and Crunchyroll.
