Global Esports, an Indian esports organization, is gearing up for the upcoming VCT 2023: Pacific League, where they will be one of the ten partnered teams competing in Seoul, South Korea. Rushindra “Salbatic” Sinha, the CEO of Global Esports, recently shared an update on the team’s status during a livestream. However, he added that the team was now in a phase of waiting, as they could not take any further action until the visa applications were processed. While this may be a frustrating and uncertain time for the players and organization, they remain optimistic about their chances in the Pacific League and are eagerly awaiting the green light to travel to Seoul and compete on LAN.

Global Esports CEO Shares Visa Update for VCT 2023: Pacific League in South Korea

According to a recent update from Rushindra “Salbatic” Sinha, CEO of Global Esports, the organization’s players are eagerly awaiting their passports to arrive as they prepare to compete in the VCT 2023: Pacific League in South Korea. As of March 15th, Sinha reported that all required documents had been submitted, and the team was now in a phase of waiting for the passports to return. Once the passports are in hand, the players will be ready to fly out to South Korea to join their teammates.

In the meantime, some members of the Global Esports team have already arrived at the South Korean bootcamp, including Kim “texture” Na-ra, Park “Bazzi” Jun-ki, and Jordan “AYRIN” He. Others, such as Cahya “Monyet” Nugraha, Ganesh “SkRossi” Gangadhar, Abhirup “Lightningfast” Choudhury, and Michael “WRONSKI” Wronski, are currently in the final stages of obtaining their visas, eagerly anticipating the opportunity to compete in the Pacific League.

1. First, Brazil was invited to participate in the VCT 2023: LOCK//IN So Paulo.

2. The second is Pacific League, which South Korea is currently participating in to participate in VCT 2023.

3. The third is for Japan in the event that they are selected for the Masters Tokyo VCT 2023.

4. For the Valorous Champions 2023, which will take place in Los Angeles, the fourth and concluding competition is for America.

Securing work visas for international esports events can be a challenging and time-consuming process, according to Rushindra “Salbatic” Sinha, CEO of Global Esports. He emphasized that the visa application process can take two to three months and requires a significant amount of paperwork and documentation. While Riot Games provides some support by offering an invitation document, the responsibility ultimately falls on the players and organizations to ensure all necessary papers are in order. Despite the difficulties involved, Global Esports remains committed to competing in the VCT 2023: Pacific League and is working diligently to navigate the complex visa procedures.
