Soon, Ice Beauty—or, as her name suggests, Yeon Woon’s second wife—will arrive. Boon Wang wants assistance in rescuing his sister from Frost Qi’s madness. Yeon Woon defeats his father in a fight. The sequel will reveal her to be the real second wife.
Mun Ku convinces Yeon Woon to change his mind because the woman’s father is one of the Five Strongest Warriors and will tremendously strengthen the Cult if he joins them. She says it aches, but for the Cult, she’ll endure it.
But the woman has good sense. Following her awakening, she reveals that the reason for the wedding is a one-night fling that led to an immediate engagement. First, they should become acquainted and decide whether or not they want to pursue a romantic relationship. She then approaches her parents and brother with an invitation to join the Cult. She merely claims to be the second wife so that she may assist Mun Ku in keeping her power once MC leaves for the sequel. In addition, Yeon Woon gains icy abilities from the woman’s Yin energy.
Yeon Woon’s will help her recover from her illness. Yeon Woon welcomes her as a second wife/concubine despite his original intention to have only one wife. One of the five strongest men in the world, her dad will be one of the new converts to the heavenly demon religion. She technically does not become his second wife until the sequel, “Descent of the Demon God,” is set in the future (and not mentioned in Nano Machine).
