It has been revealed by Treyarch that the MW2 ranked mods won’t appear until 2023. This comes as a minor blow to the more competitive players in the community, as it is another aspect of the game that is completely missing, when, to some extent, it should have been present at launch. In a statement posted to Twitter, Treyarch confirmed that, in preparation for MW2’s rank mode, the same mods found on Cold War and Vanguard will be discontinued starting November 22.

Reportedly, there are several changes coming to the game that will subside with the MW2 Ranked Play update, but at the moment, no dates have been confirmed. This list of changes includes skill segmentation, visible skill ratings, a leaderboard, and competitive rewards. There were expectations that the MW2 ranked play would launch alongside Call of Duty League in December, but now it seems that is not going to happen. In this article we give you all information about the MW2 ranked modes won’t arrive until 2023;Treyarch confirms.

Call of duty MW2 Ranked Mods Won’t Arrive Until 2023 :

For many enthusiasts, it seemed that Modern Warfare 2 had launched in an unfinished state. It may be the fastest-selling Call of Duty title in history, but it has already become one of the most criticized titles in the franchise of all time. From complicated weapon unlock paths to no-hardcore mode, and from unbalanced attachments to a fast, punitive SBMM algorithm, there are some issues that are being debated extensively by the community at large number.

There are tons of comments being made that suggest we’re already playing an MW2 ranked play mode in ‘Pubg’, given that the SBMM mechanics are pretty brutal. In December, the Call of Duty League returned for the 2023 season, and many fans expected League Play or Ranked Play to launch at the same time. Oddly, players won’t enjoy the more competitive styles of ranked mods in Modern Warfare 2 until ‘2023. It’s quite a delay, especially considering that countless players are already making their way to the max level and unlocking every possible camo in the game.

MW2 Needed Fixing Bug Before Added new content :

While the MW2 Ranked game is clearly a welcome addition, there are several fundamental aspects of the game that fans are still crying out for. For example, there’s currently no way to check player progress in the multiplayer platform – there’s no leaderboard, no barracks menu, and no statistics tracker. It’s something that every multiplayer Call of Duty title has considered predating over a decade, so it’s fair to call it an odd move for Modern Warfare 2 to not include it.

Currently, there is no further information on the arrival of MW2 ranked play. It’s likely to be heavily modeled on Call of Duty League, as is the norm, but that’s just an assumption. Treyarch has confirmed that, in the meantime, players can enjoy the CDL Moshpit playlist, which will arrive when season one goes live on November 16.Incidentally, that’s also when Call of Duty: Warzone 2 launched, so it’s likely that very few players will be on the Modern Warfare 2 platform to enjoy that playlist.
