Black Adam is finally making its way to MultiVersus’ roster alongside a new Arcade Mode. Developer Player First Games made this announcement ahead of Season 1. Gremlin’s Stripe is also coming to the game, thanks to an update launched earlier this month.
Since the Dwayne Johnson-starring Black Adam has taken over the theaters across the globe, now seems the right time to introduce the character in the game. And, as per recent news from the developers, the wait for the character might soon be over.
Black Adam will officially join the roster of MultiVersus on an unannounced date “later this week.” The MultiVersus Twitter account shared this information in a recent post, alongside a teaser trailer.
While the teaser trailer refrained from showing Black Adam in action, it did shed some light on the introduction of a new Arcade Mode. Players will be able to enjoy this mode when it goes live alongside the addition of Black Adam.

Details on what the Arcade Mode will bring for the players are still scarce. However, according to leaked information, the mode could feature 10 stages, 3 difficulty settings, and a “Rivarly-type gimmick.”
If the leaks are to be believed, it’s likely the Arcade mode will work similarly to the Arcade ladder seen in Mortal Kombat games. More details about Black Adam and Arcade Mode is expected in the coming days since the game’s update release is just around the corner.
MultiVersus Season 1 will be concluding by the end of next month on November 15. It’s safe to assume that Season 2 will kickoff the same day, though Player First Games hasn’t really put out any word to confirm such plans for the future. MultiVersus is available across the PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms.
Warner Bros. announced the game back in November 2021, sending ripples among the gamers. The game is expected to compete with titles such as Super Smash Bros., Brawlhalla, and others.
However, after early game tests, several players did not get early access codes. The official Discord server and subreddit of the game were flooded with requests for spare keys, as players who got the invite to play the game received three extra access keys for inviting others to play the cross-platform compatible game.
