Activision’s Modern Warfare 2 is a great sequel to 2019’s popular reboot and is also on its way to being one of the biggest innovators in the franchise. For veteran players, Warzone 2 will be a big game in 2022, but Modern Warfare 2 is also coming to all guns blazing with its campaign and revised multiplayer component.

New game modes, maps, and much more are a part of the annual CoD multiplayer gaming experience, and Raids seems ready to stir up things in the game again. In this article, we will discuss the new mode in detail.

What is Modern Warfare 2 Raids mode?

Raids have been added to this year’s Call of Duty. The developers Activision said this about the new mode: “A whole new experience for the franchise, Raids will be coming later this year after launch. Raids will be 3v3 and focus on team communication and coordination like never before.”

Details might not be revealed completely as of now, so it’s difficult to say if Raids will be similar to the 3v3 Team Tactical mode seen previously, or if it will something new to the table.

When will the new mode release?

Raids in Modern Warfare 2 are expected to be available to go live on December 14 as part of the Season 1 Reloaded update. This might be the first chance for players to take on the exclusive challenge introduced in the popular franchise’s new Raid mission type.

As for when players can expect new Raids from that point is something only time will tell. Players might get to see new challenges at the halfway point of every season as the game progresses. To find the answers players will have to wait and watch what the game developers have in store.
