Modern Warfare 2: Is the game coming to Xbox Game Pass?

After months of speculation and anticipation, Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 was finally released in October 2022. And, with Microsoft soon taking over Activision Blizzard, players are wondering if Modern Warfare 2 will be available on Xbox Game Pass. We are here to answer all your questions.

Is Modern Warfare 2 coming to Xbox Game Pass?

Sadly, the game will not be making its way to Xbox Game Pass. Both Activision Blizzard and Modern Warfare 2 have a marketing partnership with PlayStation and there seem to be no plans for that to change. However, there’s no word if it will end up being on Xbox Game Pass sometime in the future. But it will not be coming to the service in the near future.

This is probably the last renewal of this partnership, and if the Microsoft purchase moves forward, which would leave a lot of room for the Xbox leads to tap in on the popularity of Game Pass to crack a special deal in the coming days.

Modern Warfare 2 platforms

While Modern Warfare 2 might not be making its way to Xbox Game Pass, it will still be available for players on multiple platforms and is not exclusive to the PlayStation. The game will be coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Battle.Net, and Steam.
