While there is no info about when PS4 & PS5 players will be able to try it out. But as Sony confirmed, it’ll be “at least 5 days” ahead of other platforms. Besides, pre-ordering any version of the game will provide players with early access to the upcoming Beta.

How to play the Modern Warfare 2 Open Beta early

Gaining early access to the game is simple. Players just need to pre-order the full game on a platform. Regardless of how players purchase games, all pre-orders are granted early access.

Players who pre-order Modern Warfare 2 digitally via the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, or digitally on PC through Battle.Net or Steam, will automatically be registered to join the early access period when available.

For players who pre-order Modern Warfare 2 through a physical store, their early access Beta code is printed on the retail receipt or sent online. To redeem the 13-character Beta code through physical pre-orders, players need to go to the official CoD Beta redemption page to gain early access.
