Modern Warfare 2 players have hyped a new movement trick called “G-Walk.” Infinity Ward looked to stamp out some advanced movement techniques with the latest CoD release, such as removing the ability to slide cancel. However, it took players only a few weeks to break the game and come up with an absurd input combination to tackle this change.

Since the game’s pace has been slowed down by the developers, the community managed to figure out other ways to abuse the map design, movement systems, and several mechanics to take on any gunfight. In just a few days, we have seen “dolphin hopping,” with players flying across multiplayer modes, making it almost impossible for other players to hit.

Now, another absurd-looking technique has been brought to light under the ‘EuphoriaDream’ banners. It is called the G-Walk movement trick in Modern Warfare 2.

What is the G-Walk?

The new G-Walk trick was first used in the game on November 21 by the folks at EuphoriaDream. These players showed how the trick works in the game and it went viral across different social media platforms for being the first to understand the potential of the trick.

This technique can take Operators from one point to another, constantly dipping on the ground and then standing back up in a smooth motion. While performing the trick, the players become exceptionally difficult target to hit. As their character is constantly changing stance, locking on them and hitting the shots become very difficult.

How to perform G-Walk?

As of now, no specific tutorial has been showcased by the team for other players. However, just by looking at the footage, it’s obvious that it requires a lot of ‘prone’ spamming.

Given the speed of the movement, it seems that players will have to enable tactical sprint to reach the maximum boost with minimal output. After that, it looks like a matter of keeping on with the move. We will further update this article if more information about the move comes out.

Since the trick is very effective, it’s likely that it won’t stay in the game for a long time. Players should keep a keen eye for updates for Infinity Ward as they might want to remove this powerful technique from Modern Warfare 2.
