After a crazy last chapter, fans can’t wait to read Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 139. In this chapter, Ijin’s skill with a gun was on full display. Many exciting scenes occurred in the previous chapter. It didn’t skimp on the fun stuff, though.
Yu Ijin, a little boy, is the protagonist of this manhwa. His plane crashed, and everyone on board was thought to be killed. That day, he effectively died. For over a decade, Ijin had no idea who he was because he had forgotten everything about himself.
He was taken in by a secret training program at the time. He represented a clean slate for them, making him an ideal prospect. He worked hard at his training and quickly advanced to the top of the program.

Just when Ijin’s life was beginning to settle into a comfortable routine, his history unexpectedly resurfaced. The fugitive Mad Dog has resurfaced in his home country of Korea. And he wants nothing more than to wipe Ijin and his loved ones from the face of the earth. After shadowing him for some time, he learned every detail of his existence. Mad Dog realized he had softened and given up.
Mad Dog kidnaps his grandfather to get him to comply. Dayun is also abducted when he rushes out to save him. He is also threatened that if he tries to get aid, the two hostages would be killed. Mad Dog led him to a deserted building full of hired guns. The distance between Ijin and Mad Dog contains four teams.

Ijin is outnumbered and underequipped. In a gigantic battle that looks like it was lifted from an action movie, he begins eliminating the teams one by one. He runs into Anna just before the Boss Battle. She had similar training as Ijin, but Ijin was far superior. He corners her into close combat, where he quickly overcomes her.
To protect the captives, he could not, however, kill her. He climbs to Mad Dog’s level and approaches him. His guards are standing around him, rifles drawn, as they confer. The usual sob story of a villain is what he tells Ijin about how he’s lost everything. Finally, he threatens to take away everything Ijin cares about, beginning with his grandfather.
All the men around Ijin are shot down before he can squeeze the trigger. They all dive to the floor at the same time, and a group of armed mercenaries rappels down from the balcony. Mad Dog tries to run away, but a sniper’s gun is trained squarely on his head. It’s an understatement to say that Ijin’s initial reaction upon seeing them was one of shock.
