In this chapter, we saw No.2 pulling up his group to capture Mad Dog. We know from the previous chapter that mercenary organizations surround Yujin and Mad Dog. In Mercenary Enrollment Chapter 139, we see No. 2 starting to give a lecture to Ijin in the start. He said that he had forgotten how to react to difficult situations after experiencing a period of relative calm. Their group’s concern for one another is illustrated in a few panels. As they looked on, they saw that Ijin had slain the guys with equal savagery. No. 2 also probed him about whether he’s broken down.
Then Mad Dog remarked that the turn of events had surprised him. He began to blackmail Ijin once more, this time by asking if he wanted to save his brother. He begged Ijin to eliminate the threat and spare his life. As Mad Dog raged at Ijin, “Do you not care about your brother?”, No. 2 fired a round into his thigh, briefly suppressing Mad Dog.

Mad Dog, however, clearly did not care as he cried once more that the hostages would be killed if he did not make touch with them. But one of the members replied back that they wouldn’t be able to do that. Mad Dog was taken aback by their lack of expertise, but it turned out there were only three of them which they have taken care of.
Ijin was reassured that his brother was okay by one of the masked giants. The scene then cuts to Ijin quietly entering the hospital room to visit his sister and grandfather. He apologized again and over to them, but then his grandfather hugged him, signaling the end of the scene. That’s how the chapter concluded.
