The events began in Konoha when Hidari and Jura, two Shinju clones, detected the chakra of a tailed beast, the Nine-Tailed Fox. But with Kurama dead in combat with Isshiki and Naruto confined to Daikokuten, it was an impossibility. However, it became apparent that Naruto’s daughter, Himawari Uzumaki, was the source of the bijū chakra through a chain reaction of unforeseen occurrences.
Because of this, the two God Tree beings’ attention turned to Himawari, whom they intended to capture and eat. Hemawari visits the Mental World in chapter 9, where Jinchūriki and their tailed beast can interact with one another. Since being a Jinchūriki is a requirement to access the Mental World, this proves that Himawari is one. The Biju (tailed beast) and the human must also have an unbroken bond for this to work.
We get to meet a miniature form of Kurama and Himawari when we enter this familiar dimension, as we’ve seen with Naruto on several occasions. The conversation between Himawari and the miniature Nine-Tailed Beast reveals that it has been laid inside her for a while.
