The fans are excited for Mato Seihei no Slave Chapter 128 which will be out soon. Ren compliments Kyouka, Varvara, and Bell after they report back to him after defeating Fukuma and Rairen. Still, Kyouka says the Thunder Gods are no joke and that the battle was close. Instead of taking offense, Ren looks over to Yuuki.
Ren shifts the conversation’s focus to Bell, implying that she has what it takes to vanquish the other Thunder Gods. At first, the comment shocks Bell, but she quickly recovers and promises to give it her all. Ren tells Bell to go back to the 3rd Unit and help out the other members as the 7th Unit is no longer needed.

Both Ren and Varvara internalize Kyouka’s praise for Bell’s excellent training. Before seeing a doctor, Ren sends Kyouka and Varvara out, telling Bell and Yuuki to remain behind.
As they stand in the corridor, Kyouka unexpectedly congratulates Varvara on her triumph over a god and gives her a bear embrace. When Kyouka praises Varvara, she is so shocked and overwhelmed that she almost passes out. Tenka then approaches them to offer his congratulations on their win, but Kyouka can’t help but detect something odd about Tenka.
While Ren is in his office, he asks Yuuki why he was being so aggressive and then knocks her to the floor. According to Yuuki, she was once a Thunder God herself, although the intensity of her presence was drastically different from Ren’s. Thanks to his explanation, Ren praises herself while sitting on Yuuki’s back. After Bell verifies that Yuuki was useful during the fight, she also compliments him.
Afterwards, Kyouka tells Yuuki at the 7th Unit dorm that their checkup came up normal. The two proceed to talk about Yuuki’s Thunder Gods, and they come to the conclusion that, although they aren’t dangerous, Yuuki should be careful not to be tested. Surprisingly, Kyouka pushes in for a kiss with Yuuki, drawing near even though she is under no obligation to offer a Slave reward. It seemed like the obvious thing to do because she pays him so much, Kyouka explains to an embarrassed Yuuki. Kyouka tries to brush off the incident by telling Yuuki that he should view it as a form of payment in advance and then they start exercising.
In the meanwhile, Himari and Shushu make a full recovery after visiting Kaiko’s Miracle Care. After Kaiko says she can’t restore Shushu’s half-burned hair, Himari reassures her that Transience won’t work.
