For the time being, there is no set release date for Marvel Snap. While the full launch is planned for the second half of 2022, no specific date has been set. The first Marvel Snap Closed Beta period, on the other hand, was announced alongside the game’s reveal on May 19. While only a few players will have access in the near future, it may be your first opportunity to play the game.
Marvel Snap is going to get launched for both Mobile and PC, so as to accomodate both the kind of players. Though the upcoming ‘card battler’ is going to be made available for mobile phones, android players will be able to enjoy the game in the closed beta as it will not be available for iOS devices. Devs expect to have “an early access version” for players who will be looking forward to play it on PC.

Along with the Marvel Snap trailer, developers announced that sign-ups for the first Closed Beta are now open. Android players can now sign up to be among the first group of testers. To sign up, go to the Marvel Snap website and fill out the registration survey. It’s worth noting that the initial Closed Beta is only available to players in the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia, and New Zealand.
Marvel Snap aims to be one of the fastest card games on the market, with an emphasis on speed. With decks of only 12 cards, average games last only a few minutes, allowing for fast competition with no downtime. Players compete for majority control over three distinct zones in these 1v1 matches. The key to victory is to lay down your cards and amass more power than your enemy in two of the three zones.
At launch, MARVEL SNAP will include over 150 unique cards, each with multiple variations. Furthermore, with access to the entire Marvel multiverse and a consistent stream of new cards and art variants being added on a regular basis, the permutations of any fan’s collection will be virtually limitless. Each match will include three randomly selected locations with game-changing effects, requiring players to be prepared for anything. Players will never play the same game twice, thanks to the game’s over 50 locations.
