Bianca de Arno was a very selfish and cruel countess who resided in the Kingdom of Sevran. Count Zachary de Arno bravely served his nation, but she frittered away his fortune at home. It wasn’t until her final day that Bianca realized her error. Her body takes her back to the year 1999, where she begs for another chance and vows she will make a better life for herself before she passes away. As Bianca gets a second chance, she starts to see her husband and the world around her in a new light.
Since it authentically depicts a marriage of convenience between two individuals who still have much maturing to do, I am eager to observe how the characters develop. The plot of the narrative obscures the reality that it is very difficult to have a marriage of convenience work. What motivates me is the characters’ openness to new experiences. The female protagonist, for instance, isn’t merely looking for s*x; she’s also realizing that having a family is her sole way out of her incredibly patriarchal society.
The fact that they wait till she’s older to get serious, that they don’t groom each other, and that they can’t alter their marriage terms make me think that the age gap is more of a contextual aspect than anything else. In my opinion, the procedure is more better for your health than reading a lot of red flag, which is something I also enjoy doing.
