Previously in Chapter 3

As we left off in the previous chapter, Hibaru meets Ginji, another captive of the Hawk faction. He had the respect and confidence of Hibaru’s father. They found out about the uprising that has broken out lately from Ginji. The idea of Terasu leading their clan is unpopular. It was Shio, the first adoptive son, who instigated the uprising.

The remaining adopted sons have begun to revolt with their bases, and removing them will be no easy task. The race for the title head has begun. Like a royal conflict between siblings, it will be intense.

Hibaru and Terasu were able to get their hands on the weaponry by securing this base. The thought of resorting to violence against his brothers was unsettling to Hibaru.

The world has changed a lot, Terasu says, and Hibaru is too soft. Since they have no common ancestor, they are effectively strangers.

By a Yotsurugi family code, Hibaru challenged Terasu to end the conflict. We got a glimpse of Terasu’s abilities, Astro Shield, here. He obtained the Astro Power in order to safeguard his group.

However, Hibaru became victorious. Brotherly rivalry is bad enough, and Hibaru doesn’t want Terasu to make it seem like they’re complete strangers. Hibaru continues to respect everyone as if they were his biological family, regardless of their adoption status. Because of this, he intends to persuade them to come along.

And now they’re on their way to persuading “Kuran,” the first of their ten adopted sons who rose through the ranks by his own merits, to join them.
