The fans are excited for Urusei Yatsura Season 2 Episode 16 which will be out soon. During their date, Asuka serves Mendo tea, as seen in the previous episode. At the same time, Lum has made it her duty to visit the Mendo Family Estate in search of Ataru. She has a sneaking suspicion that he’s among the animal-clad guards serving Mendo. In an effort to lure Ataru out with the promise of electric shock therapy, Lum connives the guards into cleaning the moat.

Asuka hosts Mendo with a cup of tea on their romantic date in this episode of Urusei Yatsura Season 2. Lum believes Ataru is hidden among Mendo’s guards dressed as animals and is scouring Mendo’s place for him. Lum schemes to get the guards to clean the moat so he can locate Ataru. Asuka mistakenly attacks Mendo while one of the guards tries to inform him of Lum’s plot. She had mistaken the guard for Ataru.
In order to stay out of trouble, Ataru assumes the identity of Mendo. Unaware of the mayhem, Asuka and “Mendo” press on with their date. While observing Asuka, Tobimaro mulls about her connection with Mendo.
Ryoko tries to remain concealed by joining Tobimaro. Lum throws everyone into disarray by exposing Ataru’s real identity. Asuka, distraught about the prospect of being apart from Mendo, dons tank armor.
Asuka still won’t take off her armor, no matter how much Mendo tries to reassure her. Lum reaches out to Asuka in an effort to get her out of there. When Asuka’s mom shows up, she spills the beans about Mendo. Tensions rise when she proposes that Asuka date Ataru. Even though she loses, Asuka dares her mother to a fight. Despite the danger to Tobimaro’s life, Asuka’s mother manages to unite Asuka and Ataru.
To alleviate Asuka’s pain, Lum proposes blindfolding her. Funny things happen because Asuka’s feelings are all over the place. Ryoko tells Asuka she needs to fight her mother.
