Makoto Isshiki, creator of Forest of Piano, will release a new manga in April and a New manga Adaption of Ishura Light Novels

The Forest of Piano anime's 12-episode first season debuted on NHK in April 2018. Only Netflix is offering the series for streaming.

Makoto Isshiki, creator of Forest of Piano, will release a new manga in April. Makoto Isshiki will release a brand-new manga titled 13-nichi ni wa Hana wo Kazatte (Hang a Flower on the 13th Day of the Month) in the publication’s April issue, according to the March issue of Shogakukan’s Big Comic Original Zokan magazine, which was published on Friday. Isshiki’s previous one-shot manga with the same title is serialised in this manga. The 13-nichi Ni WA Hana WO Kazatte manga is published by Isshiki.

In March 2019, Isshiki released the single-issue manga 13-nichi Ni wa Hana wo Kazatte in Big Comic Original. The protagonist of the tale is a live-in helper by the name of Na Matsudaira. She works for the Murano family, which comprises their four boys, their grandmother, and the widowed master of the house who owns the printing company. The family pays a visit to the graves of their late mother and wife on the 13th day of each month. On one of these visits to the tomb, Matsudaira encounters a shaky cat.

The story of the upcoming serialised manga will follow that of the one-shot manga. What colour will the passing of time bring, Shogakukan teased.

In the May 2020 issue of Kodansha’s Morning magazine, Isshiki debuted the ongoing Lady Law to Nanoka no Mori (Lady Law and the Seventh Day Forest) manga. Isshiki’s ill health caused the manga to go on hiatus in September 2020. In 1998, Isshiki debuted the Forest of Piano manga in Kodansha’s Young Magazine Uppers, where it continued to appear until the magazine’s 2004 closure. Morning in 2006 saw the return of the series, which ran until 2015. December 2015 saw the release of the series 26th and final volume by Kodansha. The manga was first made available digitally in October 2018 by Kodansha USA Publishing.

The season was released outside of Japan via Netflix in September 2018, and fresh episodes were released there soon after they aired on NHK. The second season of the anime debuted in Japan in January 2019. Outside of Japan, Netflix released the season in June 2019.

Yuuki Kaji and Reina Ueda’s Ishura Light Novels Become Anime for TV

The Ishura light book series by authors Keiso and Kureta will have a television anime adaptation, according to a Sunday announcement by Kadokawa. Character images and images of the environment

Two cast members and two images were additionally disclosed by Kadokawa.

The anime’s lead actors are Yuuki Kaji as Soujiro the Willow-Sword and Reina Ueda as Yuno the Distant Talon (second image).

To mark the announcement, Kureta created a celebratory drawing.

Both Shsetsuka Ni Nar and Kakuyomu websites started serialising the book in 2017. The series’ debut volume, which was released by Kadokawa in September 2019, will be followed by its seventh instalment on February 17. 

With the highest votes ever recorded for a light novel series in the guidebook’s history, the novel series took first place in the tank-bon, novel, and new title categories in the 2021 edition of Takarajimasha’s Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! (This Light Novel Is Amazing!) Guidebook. In March 2021, the Monthly Shonen Magazine from Kodansha published the first issue of Meguri’s manga adaptation. December 2021 saw the publication of the manga’s second volume.
