Kingdom Chapter 790 picks up where the last chapter left off, with Riboku learning that Yotonwa’s army is advancing on Hango castle. Instead of immediately dealing with Yotonwa, Riboku decides to concentrate on fighting Ousen after giving it some thought. During their strategy session, word gets out that General Kansaro of Seika has switched sides and is now fighting alongside Ousen. This sparks discussions over the rationale behind the congregation of numerous commanders.
Having broken through the enemy line, Akou’s army advances on Ousen. But Shibashou’s army is moving much faster and is rapidly approaching Ousen’s position. As Shibashou’s army draws near, Ousen orders his troops to retreat, but he stays put, relying on his guards to keep him safe. Ousen states with conviction that their success or failure is dependent on their subsequent actions.
With his extraordinary fighting abilities, Shibashou keeps pushing forward, and the Seika warriors surround him, increasing the pressure on Ousen’s army. Shibashou unexpectedly ends up at Ousen’s doorstep, but, predictably, Ousen confidently proclaims that he will emerge victorious. As Ousen and Shibashou’s confrontation reaches its climax, the chapter concludes with the tension reaching an all-time high. Now, in the midst of the mayhem, a massive showdown is about to unfold.
