Hwang Chomin, in the prior chapter of King Game, asks a lady why she thinks he’s seeking for such meaningless information as Kwak Jigang’s preferred sort of woman, and then claims that the information is relevant. When Seojung was unable to locate the flavor of milk that Hong Bomi like, Bomi resorted to tormenting her and dumping the strawberry milk she had purchased on her. Bomi also splatters the girl with dirty mop water and leaves her sobbing on the floor, telling her to stay where she is and not try to crawl about on her.
When her friends ask how things are doing between her and Woojung, Bomi answers everything is great and that he is head over heels in love with her. When told that a male is waiting for her outside the school gates, Bomi assumes that Woojung has come to see her and displays an air of superiority. Bomi is astonished and appalled to find an ugly old thug who claims to know her has come to meet her. Even though Chomin has ordered Bomi to ignore Kwak Jigang, Kwak Jigang has been led to believe that Bomi is hopelessly in love with him.
The following day, Bomi finds out that the boy she likes is still at school, and she hurries to the cafeteria to observe him trying to buy her favorite milk. Bomi was concerned that her chances with Woojung would diminish because her classmates were mocking at her for dating such an ugly boy.
