Fans of Jujutsu Kaisen anime have reason to be excited as the staff of the show has recently announced a plethora of updates for its second season. Among the updates are a new promotional video, a fresh visual, and new cast members. Fans are also in for a new director, Shōta Goshozono, who is set to replace Sunghoo Park as the show’s director. Park, who directed the first season, had to step down due to health reasons. Goshozono has previously worked on Jujutsu Kaisen’s eighth and seventeenth episodes.
Aside from the new director, the show will also feature two new cast members. Anna Nagase will join the cast as Riko Amanai, while Takehito Koyasu will voice Toji Fushiguro. The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen is set to premiere on July 6th, 2023. Fans can catch the show on MBS, TBS, and 28 other affiliated channels.
