The fans are excited for JoJoLands Chapter 14 which will be out soon. Dragona and Jodio’s initial realization of their Stands occurs four years ago in a flashback. For her gym lesson, fourteen-year-old Dragona plays volleyball. A girl motions for them to hit the ball so she may receive it, but it hits her in the face instead. When the girl sees her classmates laughing, she can’t help but join in.
Dragona tries to make a funny look by laughing it off, but the girl gets even meaner and slams the ball into her face, bleeding her nose in the process. Following her threat of even greater punishments for future infractions, she goes on to say that her team would lose with her on it and expresses her wish that Dragona would simply vanish.

Dragona eventually boards the school bus, her spirits low. However, with their own set of reasons, not a single one of the children allowed them to sit down with them. In her haste to get a seat on the bus, Dragona ends up sitting on a bowl of ice cream. The girl who had before threatened Dragona shows up and says that they stole her seat.
She is really angry since they spoiled her ice cream and wants Dragona to go out and get some more for everyone. Despite the teacher’s requests that she be quiet, she continues to place blame on Dragona, claiming that she dropped their ice cream. The instructor then has her remind Dragona that the bus isn’t a place to eat or drink. He asks that they be respectful to “Dragomi” because they are new to their school from New Jersey, even if he forgets Dragona’s name.
The instructor scolds the student for having a parrot on the school bus because it is against the rules. A male student informs Dragona that the girl’s parents have a great deal of sway at the school due to the substantial financial support they provide. They have the power to influence the outcomes for the bus company, the driver, and the instructors. Despite his pleas for her to stop harassing Dragona, the girl persists.
Jodio gets a scolding from Barbara the following day for his lack of work. He is the smartest student in his class, but he consistently gets the worst marks. Dragona skipped school the day before, which is something else for which she is grateful.
Arson may have been the cause of the severe burns that sent Dragona’s instructor and twenty kids to the hospital. After Dragona figures out that Jodio is responsible, she approaches him quietly to confront him. Even though Dragona believes Jodio is insane and should be in a mental institution, they are grateful to their younger brother for rescuing them.
As a result of the encounter, Dragona slept soundly. Dragona assures Jodio that they will grow stronger as they embrace. Additionally, Dragona suggests that Jodio not inform their parents about the incident, but rather keep it between them. The bully’s eyelash curler left a scar around Dragona’s breast, which she uses to smash a spoon with her Stand. Smooth Operators is the name that Dragona has chosen for this skill, whereas November Rain is Jodio’s.
