In Episode 9 of The Witch and the Beast, we pick up where the previous episode left off, with Guideau’s true self escaping from the sealed coffin while her female form goes comatose.
As soon as Matt Cugar detects an unsettling chill, he knows the Demon Sword has stopped moving. If Guideau wants to keep the Demon Sword for himself, Ashaf says she shouldn’t use her right arm.
In response to Helga’s doubts that Guideau’s hideous shape can hold its own against the Demonic Sword, Ashaf reassures her that the latter’s powers aren’t exceptional.
Guideau and the Demon Sword engage in a fierce combat in this episode. With the devastating might of his ice elemental talents, Matt Cugat also charges into battle.
When compared to the Demon Sword, Matt’s ice elemental is noticeably more wary of Guideau. Regardless, he attempts to vanquish the Demon Sword Ashgan by conjuring a swarm of icy mist-like creatures and icicles.
