At the beginning of Chapter 41 of Jinx, Kim Dan comes to the realization that Jaekyung deserves the triumph and that everything is well. And that, ever since the last event, he has fallen head over heels for Jaekyung. In addition, he could not find an excuse to get out of it. All he could do was take it.
The next stop was at the cancer hospital where Kim Dan’s grandma was receiving treatment. Even her grandma thought the expensive blanket that Dan had purchased her was excessive for someone of her stature. Because Dan told him it was on sale and he got a good deal, he didn’t feel bad about it.
Grandma said she saw the match and thought Jaekyung was easy to beat. But Grandma’s words about caring for her in the following panel served as a reminder that the show is still a romance. Kim Dan appeared to be intent on doing just that, as he nodded in agreement with her assertion.
Our next chapter will reveal Kim Dan’s strategy for dealing with Jaekyung’s neglect of self-care. Despite his fame and intelligence, the mixed martial arts athlete had never heard of resting. He is completely focused on recovering for his next match and isn’t concerned with anything else.
One chapter showed Jaekyung lounging around the house in his pajamas, watching an old movie to pass the time. After moving in, Kim Dan inquired as to his inability to sleep that night. According to Jaekung, he is a very light sleeper; the slightest noise can jolt him up. Shortly after that, much to his disappointment, Kim Dan was immediately turned down.
When Jaekyung and the others were having their midnight supper on their vacation to the US, they accidentally woke him up, and we observed how he slept lightly. Being around the MMA fighter was a bad idea at the moment because he was suffering from severe anxiety. Kim Dan helped him overcome his illness, but he didn’t know how he did it permanently.
